Just found that there has been a group created for those of us that enjoy paint fumes
A little about me- I am old first of all, so I have been modeling for quite a long time now (30 years at least). Most of it not on a professional level obviously. Most of what i do is historical miniatures. Mostly WW2 era, but I do get into many different areas of being creative. I want to do some table top gaming stuff, but would simply be for monetary purposes since i dont do the gaming part of it. I do alot of military armor, aircraft, ships, figures, etc. Really depends on what i feel like doing at that time, and depends on what I plan on entering into model shows (theme specific/challenge classes).
An interesting fact about my channel is that i am, as far as my knowledge, the first scale modeler on creative. Qujite a while back now, it seems, creative became a thing, but was very limited as to what it had to offer. when i first started streaming creative, there were only graphic artists (this was back before they officially announced creative as an official channel and openly advertised it). I found that my viewership was better doing this type of content, so i made a decision to try doing this as full time content, with gaming here and there.
Unfortunately, other than the Gundam and tabletop content, all of those that do my type of kits have come and gone, and never stuck around long
Hope to see some of you around. Normally, i go to as many miniature/scale model channels as i can, but i lurk. You probably wont notice me since i watch at work, but i have probably been in some of your channels from time to time.
